Hotel, Condo or Office: Where to Have a Massage
In short
A condominium is the most flexible and allows any treatment, needing about two metres by two of floor and your building access procedure. A hotel room suits seated treatments where floor space is short. An office allows only clothed, oil-free treatments, and is priced in fifteen to forty-five minute blocks.
Because we travel to you rather than asking you to come to us, the first question on the booking form is where. It sounds trivial and it is not: the location decides which treatments are practical, how long the session can sensibly be, and what you need to arrange beforehand.
Here is what each of the three actually involves.
At home or in your condominium
The most flexible of the three, and the one with the fewest constraints on the treatment. There is a full table, you can undress for an oil treatment, and you can lie down afterwards instead of going anywhere.
What it needs: about two metres by two of cleared floor, somewhere to change, and — the part people forget — your building's access procedure. Most condominium buildings require a visitor to be registered at the desk or escorted up. Put it on the form and it is a non-event.
Home and condominium massage is ฿1,000 for sixty minutes, ฿1,200 for ninety and ฿1,600 for two hours. Any of the treatment styles can be delivered this way. There is more on the practicalities in what a condominium visit involves.
In a hotel room
The right choice for visitors, and for residents who happen to be staying somewhere. The constraint is space rather than permission: a standard Bangkok hotel room often has no two-metre square of clear floor once the bed and the desk are in it.
That is not a problem so long as you pick accordingly. A seated treatment needs a chair — head, neck and shoulder massage at ฿900 for forty-five minutes is done through clothing with no oil, and works in any room. Foot massage needs an armchair with room to put your feet up.
For a table treatment, a room with a sofa or a sitting area is usually fine. Hotel in-room massage is ฿1,100 for sixty minutes and follows the hotel's own procedure — give us the hotel name and room number on the form, because some hotels require the guest to meet the therapist at reception.
If you have just landed, shoulder tension after a long flight covers which treatment to choose.
At the office
The most restricted, and the most efficient. There is no undressing, no oil and no table, so it fits into a working day in a way the other two cannot — and it is priced in short blocks accordingly.
Corporate office massage is ฿350 for fifteen minutes, ฿600 for thirty and ฿850 for forty-five. It is seated, through clothing, and needs a quiet corner rather than a private room with a door. For an individual rather than a team, office syndrome massage can also be delivered at a desk, at ฿900 for the forty-five minute session that exists precisely for a lunch hour.
Four treatments are available at an office: traditional Thai, four hand, foot, and head, neck and shoulder — plus the two above. The oil treatments are not, for the obvious reason.
Choosing between them
| If you want… | Then |
|---|---|
| An oil treatment, or to lie down afterwards | Home or condominium |
| Something after a flight, with no space to clear | Hotel, seated treatment |
| Something inside a working day | Office, 15–45 minutes |
| The longest session and the least interruption | Home, two hours or more |
Two things that are the same everywhere
There is no travel surcharge in any of the twelve areas we cover, whichever of the three you choose, and all twelve are eligible for same-day booking. And we operate around the clock with no minimum notice on the form, so the time of day is rarely the limiting factor.
The service areas page lists the twelve with an arrival estimate for each. You can send a request for any of the three, or see the full treatment list with prices on the home page.
Frequently asked questions
Which treatments can be done at an office?
The clothed, oil-free ones: corporate office massage at 350 baht for fifteen minutes, 600 for thirty and 850 for forty-five; head, neck and shoulder massage; office syndrome massage; foot massage; traditional Thai; and four hand massage. Oil treatments are not available at an office for the obvious reason.
My hotel room is small. Is that a problem?
Not if you choose accordingly. Head, neck and shoulder massage is done in a chair through clothing and works in any room, at 900 baht for forty-five minutes. Foot massage needs an armchair. A table treatment wants a sitting area or space beside the bed.
What do I need to tell you about a condominium?
The building access procedure, which is the field people leave blank. Most buildings either register a visitor at the desk, require you to come down, need a resident lift card, or want the name in advance. A map link is the other genuinely useful thing to add.
Can I have a two-hour session at the office?
Not through corporate office massage, which runs to forty-five minutes because it is designed to fit inside a working day. Longer sessions suit a home or hotel booking, where two-hour and three-hour durations are available on most treatments.
